Geo Cramer’s passion for Cartier started with the introduction of the Santos in 1978, a watch he actually acquired in 1985. This was the beginning of a deeply rooted passion for Cartier. Driven by a thirst for knowledge Geo absorbed everything there was to know about Cartier, and enabled him to write about the brand in a time when Cartier was still more seen, by collectors, as an jewelry-brand rather than a watch-brand. Today Geo is one of the world’s most prominent experts on Cartier’s men’s watches. He shares his expertise as writer for Revo-Online and Revolution Magazine, and of course here at Troisanneaux, the website he founded himself in 2005.
Martin Green’s passion for Cartier started also with a Santos, but in his case it was a Santos Ronde. Intrigued by the craftsmanship and finish of this watch he also submerged himself in the world of Cartier. Although Martin’s knowledge goes beyond Cartier, and as a writer he has written for Monochrome and Christie’s Longitude, he shares Geo’s deeply rooted passion for the brand. To express this passion he joined Troisanneaux in 2013, after working closely together with Geo for years at Revo-Online, on Cartier-related articles.
